Alan Osrin
Managing Director of Sage Software Australia & Sage HandiSoft
Alan Osrin is the Managing Director of Sage Software Australia Pty Ltd, as well as Managing Director of HandiSoft Software Australia Pty Ltd.
Alan began his career by co-founding Softline Ltd in 1988 with Ivan Epstein (CEO Sage -Southern Hemisphere) and Steven Cohen. Softline was established during the formative years of the software industry and listed on the JSE Securities Exchange in South Africa in February 1997. Softline expanded to become a global player with a leading position in South Africa and Australia providing accounting, payroll and CRM software solutions for small, medium and large sized companies. Alan moved to Australia in 1999 to manage Softline’s Australian operations. Subsequent to his move to Australia the business of MicrOpay was acquired.
In 2003 Softline was sold to Sage and Alan Osrin took the role of Managing Director of Sage Australia. Throughout Alan’s career he has managed many different businesses within the Softline group, primarily in the area of accounting software and has gained enormous expertise in this field
Mike Lorge
Managing Director of Sage Business Solutions for Australia and New Zealand
Mike Lorge is the Managing Director of Sage Business Solutions for Australia and New Zealand.
Mike is a chartered accountant and became a director of Softline Holdings (now wholly owned by Sage) in 1999, after his IT services company Lorge Consulting was acquired by Softline. This company was a Sage Accpac Business Partner and grew to be the largest and most profitable in the world, winning numerous partner awards.
Mike moved to Australia in 2000 following the establishment by Softline of its Australian operations. The following year he founded Pivotil, which provides best practice business management tools and methodologies for Sage Business Partners.
Craig Osborne
Managing Director of Sage MicrOpay
As Managing Director, Craig is responsible for nearly 200 Sage MicrOpay staff in the company’s head office in Sydney, as well as branch offices in Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth, and an agent in Brisbane.
Craig joined MicrOpay in 1990 when the company had approximately 20 staff and was focused on just one software product: the original MicrOpay Payroll Manager. He was hired to develop and sell the HR solution. Since then he has held several key positions, from Sales Manager (Victoria), and Product Marketing Manager to National Operations Manager.
During his tenure, he has helped steer the business through the DOS-to-Windows upgrade, acquisitions and development – such as its most recent new payroll management solution for medium, growing and larger organisations, MicrOpay Meridian - to become Australia’s leading payroll software provider. |
